fonts-droid software package provides handheld device font with extensive style and language support, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-droid
fonts-droid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-droid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-droid *
You will get with fonts-droid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
